Esteemed multinational tech Giant Adobe India’s headquarter is located in the vicinity of our capital New Delhi. It is on an independent plot with a total carpet area of 2,00,000 square feet and can accommodate more than 2000 IT technicians. Coordinating with the spirit of Adobe the building was designed in an innovative way with bright colors characterized the new complex reflecting the vibrant and fun filled work environment. The structure has a state-of-art engineering services which is efficiently combined with simple, comfortable and convenient work spaces. This commendable design of art was visualized and finalized by Sanjay Wadhwa of SWBI Architects whose phenomenal work achieved LEED Platinum level and set a new standard for the design of workplaces in India, a theme of growing importance in the country. The whole design is inspired by the philosophy ‘Back to the basics’ and terracotta has been used as the primary material expressed in a modern contemporary style applying geometric designs & compositions. The Biowall traps for air pollutants aids in lowering the surrounding air-temperatures and reducing cooling loads. The terrace garden and green roof are reducing the heat island effect while the solar shielding on the south façade/roof parasol for a high, midday sun angle. The building has recreational areas like a multipurpose hall, a gym, outdoor courtyards, lounge areas and a cafeteria. The architects have designed a series of courtyards and panoramic pathways with plenty of water and plants to invite workers to stroll.
