This building is regarded as the tallest building in India designed by none other than ‘The Man of heights’ Hafeez Contractor. In order to develop such enormous building, many structures had to be demolished in a phased manner to make the ground clear for the new development. The 42 is a 65 floors tower with a triple-height entrance lobby, 1 club level 60 apartment floors and 3 service floors, comprising of one flat per floor of 4-5 BHK apartments. The long spacious windows offer perfect picture-framed views of the ‘city of joy’. The 42 is a very slender building with a slenderness ratio of 1:10. This makes it very important for the structural system to be robust to withstand seismic loads and high wind pressures. This residential skyscrapper was built by developers Mani Group, Salalpuria Sattva Group, and Alcove Realty & Diamond Group. The 42 is characterized by BuildTrack’s Smart Automation which uses IOT. This system enables quick access to single point of control and monitoring for the building. The BuildTrack Kiosks or Smart Apps ranging from safety/security sensors to water tank level sensors, STP, energy meters, control of lighting, pumps and more. This building also has integrated fire protection system which provides a smart operation of fire protection integrating with BuildTrack.
