Yamuna Expressway Authority to launch 2,000 plots near Noida airport for Navratri

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch a new residential plot scheme during the upcoming festive season, following strong demand from previous schemes. Officials stated that around 2,000 smaller plots will be available, aimed at mid-income buyers, and will be introduced during the Navratri festival.

Yamuna Authority CEO Arun Vir Singh stated that the previous residential plot schemes received a positive response, but many interested individuals missed the opportunity, prompting the launch of another scheme.

Singh stated that our schemes shall introduce approximately 4,000 residential plots comprised of smaller sizes. These lots are expected to measure between the range of 120 sqm and 162 sqm."

According to a YEIDA representative, half of the entire 4,000 plots will be released during the Navratri festive period - that's 2,000 in total.

According to the official, residential plots in sectors near Noida International Airport will soon be introduced through a new scheme. The Authority has initiated registration of this scheme with Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA).

These plots will be allocated through a lottery system, as stated by authorities. It is expected that the allotment price will be approximately Rs.25,900 per sqm. If assigned at this rate, a plot with an area of 120 sq m would amount to about Rs.31.08 lakhs and one with an area of 162 sqm would come out to roughly Rs.41.95 lakh.

In July 2024, the YEIDA introduced a program featuring 361 residential plots in sectors 16, 18, 20 and 22D. The lucky draw for these residential lots is scheduled to be conducted by the Authority on October10th.

The YEIDA residential plot scheme, which ended on September 4th, 2023 had over 240 thousand people registered for the chance to purchase one of its1,184 plots.
