The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) accomplished an illustration for the allotment of 109 industrial plots located in Sectors 28, 29, 32, and 33 along with the Yamuna Expressway that connects Greater Noida with Agra. The move of YEIDA is predicted to fetch the authority around Rs 136 crore in revenue of the company, noted the Authority. In accordance with the Authority, an investment of Rs 16,498 crore is planned on these industrial plots that will generate an estimated 5,132 jobs, which can aid in the overall livelihood of employees.
In October 2023, The Authority initiated a scheme for the sale of 109 industrial plots. These industrial plots are reserved for the different categories of industries. The reserved plots for industries includes toy parks, handicrafts, furniture manufacturing, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), among others.
Under the scheme by Authority, the industrial plots were obtained in eight different sizes which are 300 square metres (sqm), 450 sqm, 595 sqm, 1,000 sqm, 1,800 sqm, 2,000 sqm, 3,000 sqm, and 4,000 sqm.
The authority also stated that as many as 3,276 applications were received against 109 industrial plots, of which 3,234 applications were bring into being eligible for the draw. While the Authority has done away with the e-auction process for industrial plots and land parcels were allotted through a lucky draw, following a direction from the Uttar Pradesh government.
