Wife of GR Infraprojects promotor owns a bungalow worth Rs.86 cr

In accordance with documents admitted by Zapkey.com, a proptech firm, the promotor of GR Infraprojects Limited, Devkinandan Agarwal’s wife Laxmi Devi Agarwal has bought a bungalow in Vasant Vihar, a posh locality of Delhi at the cost of Rs. 86 crore.

The action of sale was executed in the name of Laxmi Devi Agarwal on the month of September, 2023. The document shows, along with e-registration charges of Rs. 86.01 lakh, Agarwal paid a stamp duty of Rs. 4.36 crore for the transaction.

This purchase by Agarwal is the latest in a rope of noteworthy real estate transactionof this year made in Delhi. For example, in the month of March, Vasudha Rohatgi, wife of former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi bought a 160-square-foot bungalow in Delhi's tony Golf Links for Rs. 160 crore.

The plot size of the property is 1,003.32 square metres (sq m) or 1,200 square yards (sqyd) and it was located on Paschimi Marg in Vasant Vihar in South Delhi, the documents showed.The total plinth area of property is 339.88 sq m.

The bungalow was purchased from the sons of the late Tarlok Singh, the first private secretary to India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, namely Jaideep Singh and Alok Singh.
