Water Metro to Enhance Ayodhya Pilgrims Experience

Travelers visiting Ayodhya will also get the opportunity to experience the water metro as the state government will be providing two vessels for this purpose. According to a government representative, the Union Inland Waterways ministry is the source of the boats.

Once there, they would be transported between Guptar Ghat and Sant Tulsidas Ghat by the Water Metro Service in Ayodhya, which is a popular tourist and pilgrimage destination. The two locations are roughly 14 kilometers apart in total.

According to officials, the jetties for water metro service will be electrically charged. The vessel would last for one hour after charging. Fifty passengers can board the AC vessel at once, and at the ghat, a charging station is also being installed.

Commenting on this, a statement from the official Authority says, “Water Metro Service aims at making modern and cheap means of transport accessible for the people living in the region. This will give an impetus to tourism & amplify the piligrims experience in the area apart from easing the traffic congestion in the city”
