Telengana Govt soon to launch Health Tourism hub over 1000 acres land

The chief minister of Hyderabad A Revanth Reddy announced that, the state govt is planning to set up a medical and health tourism hub expands over 1,000 acres in Telangana. The govt is to setup this hub a as one stop destination for the convenience of people, especially those coming from abroad for treatment to Telengana.

While talking in Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital’s 24th annual day celebrations, he said that, Basavatarakam cancer hospital will be an integral part of this hub.

The Telengana govt also told to expand its services  further to support the hospitals. Revanth Reddy, who has of late been full of praise for his former party chief and now counterpart in Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, informed that he now saw Naidu as a competitor, and indirectly, that the AP CM was one of the best in the field. 

Radiation oncologist Nori Dattatreyudu recollected the hospital’s journey from its inception to its current stature. Hospital chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna thanked the Chief Minister for renewing the land lease, a matter pending for five years.

He highlighted that, his commitment to continuing his father’s mission and expressed gratitude to the donors, and assured that the hospital would maintain its not-for-profit status while serving Telugu-speaking people from both States.

The Hospital managing trustee and film actor-cum-MLA Balakrishna and TDP former MP Nama Nageswara Rao told that, the state govt to allot 10 acres to expand the hospital facilities.

This health Tourism hub will introduce welfare schemes like Rs.2 a kg rice, Janata garments and others and laid seeds for formation of coalition governments. All the top health institutes can open their wing here and treat patients from across the country and from Middle East countries. A green channel will be installed which offers accommodation for the people accompanying the patients. The  Basavatarakam hospital management has asked for  additional land for expansion of their services and would be allotted land in the proposed health tourism hub.
