Stovekraft Plans to Develop its Retail Footprint in Northern India

An Indian company that manufactures cooking appliances under the well-known brands such as Skava, Pigeon and Gilma, Stovekraft is set to enlarge its retail footprint in the northern region of India to fortify its presence in pan-India. Through the ending of the next financial year, the company looks to start 300 to 350 separate retail stores across the country.

In this regard, the kitchen appliance company is investing on the shift towards branded products, particularly in smaller towns and rural regions of India. These retail stores are completely company-owned & company-operated. 

Also, the company trades its products from general trade stores, modern trade stores as well as online e-commerce channels. By the commencement of the December quarter, the company was functioning around 125 stores.

Already it has started with initial exclusive brand stores in the region of Delhi-NCR and will progressively open stores across all over the northern India. All at once, it will also endure to enhance new stores in the southern region. Regardless the segment of cookware, the kitchen appliance segment will be a strong pillar for future growth of the company.

In the meantime, the company is also looking for slope up exports and discover the potential to cultivate the contribution to about 20 percent. As of now, the company is thoroughly occupied with retailers in the Northern American region and aiming at an extensive product range.
