Srinagar is Introducing 100 E-buses under its Smart City Initiative

City of Lakes, and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar which is famous for its breathtaking beauty and picturesque landscapes is stepping forward to a sustainable mode of transportation launching of 100 electric buses as part of its Smart City initiative. These buses are aiming to contribute to a cleaner and greener environment while providing efficient public transportation options for the city's residents.

Srinagar holds a population of more than 1 million, facing numerous mobility challenges, including traffic congestion and air pollution. This new introduction of E-buses will help the civic authorities of Srinagar to mitigate these issues and promote sustainable urban development.
