Sobha Realty promotes Ravi Menon as the new chairman of the group

Listed real estate developer Sobha Realty, which is a Dubai based company has elevated Ravi Menon as the chairman of the Group. This post will be operational for the new chairman from 18th November 2024. In a media statement the company declare that,the founder anf chairman of the group PNC Menon will retire from his active role of chairmanship, while continuing as the founder of the Group.

The statement of the company added, as PNC Menon transitions to the next generation, he will remain influential, providing his expertise to guide the group’s subsidiaries and support continued growth and stability.

The founder and chairman of Sobha Group PNC Menon said, “I am dedicated to advancing Sobha Realty’s goals and believe that with Ravi Menon and Francis Alfred at the helm, the company is poised to embark on a new era of growth and innovation.”

Ravi Menon, who is graduated with honors in civil engineering from Purdue University, USA, joined Sobha Limited as a director in June 2004. He was promoted to vice chairman in January 2006 and later became chairman of Sobha Limited in India, before being appointed co-chairman of Sobha Group in Dubai.

The co-chairman of Sobha Group, Ravi Menon mentioned, I am highly obliged to take on the role of chairman of Sobha Group. Under PNC Menon’s remarkable leadership, Sobha Realty has become a leading luxury real estate developer in the region, with promising expansion plans globally. I am dedicated to upholding this legacy and advancing it further to make it the most preferred brand for customers.

As per the report, Ravi Menon will work alongside Francis Alfred who is the Managing Director of Sobha Realty.

Regarding this new appointment, Francis Alfred mentioned, “As we embark on this exciting new chapter for Sobha Realty, I am honoured to work alongside Ravi Menon. His visionary leadership and deep commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the company’s success.”
