Royal Enfield Soon to Inaugurate its first Warehouse in Kolkata

Royal Enfield has inaugurated its first warehouse in the eastern region, located near Kolkata, to address spare parts needs. The warehouse, spread over a 50,000 sq ft area near Kolkata, in Bagnan, Howrah district area of the city, will supply spare parts to the entire eastern and northeastern region.

The warehouse is set to serve as a distribution hub for spare parts catering to the entire eastern and northeastern regions. By opening this warehouse the transit time for the supply of motorcycle parts will reduce significantly and also help develop channel partners. 

The spokesperson of the company said that, America is the biggest overseas market for the two-wheeler manufacturer, contributing to 45 percent of the followed by Europe, West Asia and Africa, with a combined share of 35 percent. 

The Asia Pacific region plays a substantial role, contributing 20 percent to Royal Enfield's overall exports. Additionally, the spokesperson noted that over 27 percent of the company's domestic sales are attributed to the eastern region.

More than 27 percent of Royal Enfield’s overall sales in the country come from the eastern region, the spokesperson added. So their opening of this new warehouse will drag more sales in future.

According to the market report, Royal Enfield will poise to grow 11 per cent rise in total sales at 77,583 units in August 2023.In a statement, the company said that they had sold 70,112 units in the same month last year.
