Prestige & Marriott eyes to build Six Hotels in Two-to-Five year Period

One of the foremost real estate developer in India known for well-structured residential properties, Prestige Estates & International hotel company Marriott International have mutually signed a partnership agreement to develop six luxury hotel projects all over the nation.

The Executive Director of Hospitality at Prestige Estates, Zaid Sadiq says that the total number of hotels will be developed within next two to five years.
 
Sadiq added, “The total inventory will be 801 keys across Goa and Karnataka and Marriott is launching some of the new brands in the country with Prestige. And the total investment will be around Rs. 1000 crore”. 

The plan for the hotel properties includes 177 key -Marriott Executive Apartments in Bengaluru’s UB City, 130 key Moxy Bengaluru ORR, outer ring road, Bengaluru, 152 key-Bengaluru Marriott Hotel South in Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru, 120 key-Autograph Collection in Chopdem, Goa, 160 key-JW Marriott Sakleshpur Plantation Resort in  Sakleshpur in Karnataka & 62 key-Tribute Portfolio Dabolim Hotel in Dabolim in Goa.

Currently Prestige has 10 hospitality projects with 1,489 keys. International hotel company Marriott International anticipates to inaugurate 14 hotels in South Asia this year, out of that 12 will be in India which is expected to add up nearly 1,200 rooms to the Hotel’s current portfolio in India.
