PM Reveals Series of Developmental Projects of Rs. 72 billion in Jharkhand

Honourable prime minister of India Narendra Modi is going to reveal a series of projects worth around Rs 7,200 crore for infrastructure development in Jharkhand which include rail, road, education, coal, petroleum and natural gas. This magical announcement is part of the government's ongoing efforts to boost urban infrastructure and facilitate comprehensive development in the region.

The projects inaugurated include the new campus of IIM-Ranchi, a new hostel of IIT-ISM Dhanbad, Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) depot in Bokaro, and the work of doubling the railway tracks in the Hatia-Pakra, Talgaria-Bokaro and Jarangdih-Patratu section has already started. The investment underscores the commitment to uplifting the state's infrastructure and fostering economic growth. 

One of the milestone projects of development is the Deoghar Urban Development Authority's plan, involving an investment of Rs. 46.50 billion, which aims to transform Deoghar into a smart city. The initiative focuses on creating modern urban amenities, improving connectivity, and ensuring sustainable development in the region.

On top of that, PM Modi has also inaugurated the development project for the Ranchi Municipal Corporation, which is worth Rs. 21.80 billion. This initiative aims to enhance the city's infrastructure, including roads, storm water drainage, and sewage management systems, contributing to overall urban development.

This encompassing investment of central government in Jharkhand reflects the government's commitment to uplifting the state's urban landscape and ensuring the well-being of its residents. The multifaceted projects align with the broader vision of creating smart cities, improving living standards, and enhancing economic prosperity.
