Panasonic invests Rs. 160 crore in Prime Andheri Land Parcel in Mumbai

Panasonic Life Solutions has acquired a 6,586-square-meter land parcel in Mumbai’s Andheri area for Rs. 160 crore.

According to a consultant, the company made a substantial investment by securing this prime plot on Saki Vihar Road, Andheri East, Mumbai.

The land, covering approximately 6,586.90 square meters (around 7,877.87 square yards), was purchased from River Rose Developers LLP. The transaction was officially registered on January 29, 2025, with a stamp duty payment of Rs. 9.60 crore and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000, as per official documents.

Panasonic Life Solutions has been contacted for a comment, while River Rose LLP could not be reached. Any response received will be incorporated into the story.

SquareYards highlighted that Andheri East is a key commercial and residential hub in Mumbai, offering seamless connectivity via the Western Express Highway and Metro Line 1, along with proximity to domestic and international airports.

The area also features a strong business presence with SEEPZ, MIDC, and several corporate offices. Its well-established social infrastructure includes renowned schools, hospitals, and entertainment options. Additionally, shopping centers such as Phoenix Market City and Infinity Mall enhance the lifestyle appeal.

Panasonic Life Solutions, a fully owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, is a major player in India’s electrical construction materials industry. The company provides a wide range of products, including wiring devices, fans, lighting, solar equipment, switchgear, cables, and power tools. Panasonic Corporation acquired the company in 2007.
