Noida Metro Submits DPR of Aqua Line Metro Corridor for Expansion Approval

Planning to extend the project of existing Aqua Line Metro corridor, NMRC (Noida Metro Rail Corporation) has submitted the DPR (Detailed Project Report) for extension of the line between sector-142 to Botanical Garden stations, to local authorities for sanction.

On one occasion the Noida Authority and the Authority of Greater Noida provides their on-paper approval, the DPR (Detailed Project Report) would be offered to Noida Metro Rail Corporation’s board at its next conference. Following this, the Detailed Project Report will be progressed for approval from the government of Uttar Pradesh and the Centre. The Botanical Garden station is a crossing point station for the Blue Line and the Magenta Line of the Metro in Delhi.

The Botanical Garden is planned to serve as an interchanging station between Noida Metro Rail Corporation’s Aqua Line, Magenta and Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. The whole length of the proposed line would be 11.56 km and involves an estimated investment of Rs. 2,254.35 crore.

The extending project of existing Aqua Line Metro corridor will supply the ease of connectivity to the residents of both the cities Noida & Greater Noida and it also connects them to the network of Delhi Metro. Into the project, there will be eight novel elevated stations on this line which are Botanical Garden, Noida Sector-44, Noida Office, Sector-97, Sector-105, Sector-108, Sector-93, Panchsheel Balak Inter College, and Sector-142, which already exists.
