Noida Govt knocks down 'Mafia Raj' on Govt Lands & seizes a large area of Land

The Noida Authority has ordered to free 56,885 square metres of land in its month-long drive from illegal colonisers. The official report of the authority included that, the lands belong to 12 spots of eight villages, and they are worth Rs.236.80 crore as per the prevailing market rates.

The chief executive officer of Noida authority, Lokesh M has ordered the land and the civil department to work in coordination to take effective measures against those who are the main culprits of grabbing government lands and carving out unauthorized housing or commercial projects, and luring “innocent buyers” by selling them cheap plots. 

 

He also added, “Our joint teams have carried out the drives and demolished the unauthorized structures built in our notified area. Our action against the unauthorized structures will continue.” 

This regulation and surveillance drive was launched on March 12 lasted till April 13. It was carried out by the authority’s joint teams in villages including Sadarpur, Salarpur, Sorkha Jahidabad, Mamura, Gulavali, Assadullapur, Moyiyapur, and Garhi Samastipur.

According to the source report, a total 17 khasra numbers are there in which the authority freed the land on which the land mafia were selling either the residential plots or the commercial plots, without having the authority’s permission.

An officials of Noida Govt. said, “As per the Uttar Pradesh industrial act-1976, no person or company can carve out plots or develop any kind of building without getting the map approved. No individual or company is allowed to carry out construction without having the building map approved and permission for building the project in this notified area.”

He also added that, if anyone goes beyond the boundary line without approval the government will send public notices declaring the land illegal. They will also tell the innocent buyers not to buy this land otherwise authority will demolish these projects.
