NBCC witnesses sharp revenue growth taking over Rs.23,500 crore project in FY24

The construction arm of Government NBCC Ltd has declared that, it has secured projects worth of Rs.23,500 crore during the 2023-24 fiscal year. In the company filing they showed, their revenue has increased more than 250% over last financial year. 

In a media statement NBCC told, "NBCC has secured record new works of Rs.23,500 crore on consolidated basis and Rs.18,400 crore on standalone basis, as compared to Rs.6,700 crore (consolidated basis) and Rs.4,225 crore (standalone basis) in preceding fiscal." 

CMD, NBCC (India) Limited, K P Mahadevaswamy said that the company's strength in the construction and infrastructure domain, especially in case of redevelopment and land monetization. 

He also added, “With a robust order book and a strategic focus on redevelopment and land monetization, NBCC is well-positioned to not only sustain but also incrementally elevate its growth trajectory, propelling sustainable development forward in India's construction and infrastructure landscape.”

Major part of their business in FY24 of NBCC includes Floor Area Ratio works in Amrapali worth approximately Rs. 10,000 crore. Their first redevelopment project outside Delhi was for Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) which was worth Rs.2000 crore.

At the World Trade Centre project in Delhi’s Nauroji Nagar area, NBCC has sold commercial real estate inventory worth Rs. 6,500 crore last financial year, nearly three-fold of what it managed in FY23. Till date the company has sold a total commercial inventory of over 30 lakh sq ft through 25 e-auctions, having a sale value of over Rs. 12,100 crore.

NBCC also expanded their expertise in agri-infrastructure sector through the construction of grain storage under the World's Largest Grain Storage Plan with an approximate value of Rs.1,500 crore. They received the request of redeveloping and modernizing of government of India presses through a self-financing model at Mayapuri, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Nasik and Kolkata, valued at Rs.750 crore.

The company has taken over the construction work of various infrastructure works of SAIL Bhilai, Bokaro, Durgapur and Burnpur valuing Rs.580 crore. In the financial year of 2023-2024, the company has got works of about Rs.9,800 crore pertaining to different projects.
