Mahindra Vista by Mahindra' s is ready to be launched in Mumbai

The real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd  announced that it has successfully sold inventory in its inaugural net zero waste and energy homes project in Kandivali East, Mumbai, amounting to Rs.800 crore, all within a remarkable three-day period.

Mahindra Vista is spread across  a vast land parcel of 7.74 acres with total landscaped greens of around 3.5 acres and a biophilic-roof clubhouse. The project is comprised of 1 BHK to 4 BHK housing units. The first phase is housed with three towers measuring a total of 601 units in various sizes. 

In an official statement, the residential project has been developed using climate-responsive principles. It relies entirely on renewable energy sources for its power supply. By implementing active and passive energy conservation methods, it is estimated to save approximately 18 lakh kwh of energy. This amount is equivalent to the energy required to power 212 homes.

In addition to this, the initiative will implement water preservation strategies like low-flow fixtures, sewage wastewater treatment and reuse, and an efficient irrigation system. These measures are expected to conserve 53 percent of water from external sources. Furthermore, the project encompasses a thriving urban forest comprising more than 1,000 native trees, which enhances the local biodiversity.
