Lulu Group Planning to Set-up Shopping Mall in Ahmedabad

The Multinational Conglomerate LuLu Group is planning to set-up a largest shopping mall in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with an estimated investment of Rs. 4,000 crore.

The strategic plan of this highly diversified and well-built developer with successful business performances in various locations shows the company’s intent to standardize its presence in India.

The company announced on the sidelines of the ongoing Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit that the proposed construction for shopping mall will commence in this year. And a miniature of the project has been put up for view at the UAE stall in the Gujarat Global Summit.

In the month of September 2023, the Group has announced its plan to set-up two huge shopping malls in India - Ahmedabad and Chennai as well as it will also consider different states for build up shopping malls & food processing. In addition to this, the Group will be launching another shopping mall in Hyderabad by the end of this month.

Currently, LuLu Group has its malls in six cities all over India including Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Coimbatore and Hyderabad being the newest. The company operates over 250 hypermarkets and supermarkets. Also the group has immense popularity with great number of shoppers across the countries such as GCC, Egypt, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. It employs more than 65,000 plus well-built labor force from 42 different nations and has a yearly turnover of $ Eight billion worldwide.
