Lalbagh Flower Show which is inspired by the life, philosophy, and literary works of Basavanna, showcased breathtaking floral arrangements dedicated to prominent figures in the Veerashaiva tradition, such as AllamaPrabhu, AkkaMahadevi, and others. This overwhelming event boastingly drew 2.59 crore revenue. From the starting till the last day of the event, it attracted 6 lakh visitors with a significant profit of Rs.1lakh on the Republic Day alone.

This January show executed a relatively higher attendance compared to the Independence Day show. The experience of witnessing the flower sculptures in Lalbagh's Rose Garden and Sevantige area, adorned with roses and marigolds, captured the attention of visitors from various parts of the state and neighboring states.

The final day of the event recorded the footfall of nearly 76000 visitors, while in the first day, it started with 55000 visitors.

M Jagadeesh, the Joint Director of Lalbagh Botanical Gardens delightfully appreciated all the visitors and applauded the noble efforts of Sahas, Beautiful Bharat, HasiruDala, and the Solid Waste Management Round Table (SWMRT) for their efforts in managing solid waste, highlighting that their initiatives had made Lalbagh "almost litter free."

He expressed his overwhelming feeling about the tremendous success their awareness campaign to make Lalbagh litter-free. He further added, "We had a strong and dedicated team of volunteers this time, which facilitated easy workflow and coordination. We deputed 20 batches, each comprising seven to eight volunteers. We ensured that waste was timely removed with adequate numbers and movement.”

The highlights of the show were AnubhavaMantapa, a replica on Basavanna’s House and a floral representation of Vachana Concert. Other displays include the contemporaries of Basavanna, such as AllamaPrabhu and AkkaMahadevi, as well as a representation of the ishtalinga in Veerashaiva philosophy.

The success of this show not only paved the way for conducting more such trade events but it underlined the importance of waste management and community involvement.
