JK Cement unveils new grinding unit with advanced German technology in Prayagraj

JK Cement, an eminent Indian producer of grey cement and a renowned global manufacturer of white cement, has recently declared the inauguration of a fresh grinding unit at its Prayagraj Plant in Uttar Pradesh. This remarkable achievement, accomplished within an impressive timeframe of less than ten months, further reinforces JK Cement's dedication to fulfilling the escalating cement requirements and solidifying its prominent status as a pivotal leader in the industry.

The company has achieved this milestone within a period of ten months. This is the part of their expansion strategy which successfully proved the company’s sturdy commitment for meeting the increasing evolving demand for cement in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, as well as customer base across key markets. 

The plant in Prayagraj is a 2 MTPA Clinker Grinding unit project which will increase the overall capacity of the organization from the present 22 MTPA to 24 MTPA.  This plant is efficiently made up with using cutting-edge German technology, which deliver high energy efficiency and reducing input and fixed costs. This will help the company to address the burgeoning demand of the cement across the key market of India.

The cement market in Eastern Uttar Pradesh holds great importance due to the rapid development of infrastructure in the region. Currently, JK Cement is looking after two functional units in the state of Uttar Pradesh, situated in Aligarh and Hamipur with the capacity of 1.5 MTPA and 2 MTPA respectively.
