Hyderabad Witnesses a 25% year-on-year Growth with 5,787 Property Registrations in October

In Hyderabad, the residential sales during the month of October 2023 were primarily with-in properties sized 1,000-2,000 sq ft while the cost range of Rs. 25–50 lakh accounted for the utmost registrations.

According to the Knight Frank India report, in October 2023, Hyderabad recorded the registration of 5,787 residential properties, up by 25 percent year-on-year (YoY).

During the month of October, the registered properties’ total value stood at Rs. 3,170 crore, which was increased by 41 percent YoY. The rate of increase in property indicates a progress towards the sale of higher-value homes.  

Properties registered in October 2023 were concentrated in the range of 1,000-2,000 sqft, with this size category accounting for 69 percent of registrations.

There was arestraint in demand for smaller homes with 500 -1,000 sqft, with registrations for this category drop down to 16 percent during the month of October in 2023 from 21 percent in October of previous year. Nevertheless, properties larger than 2,000 sqft saw a surge in demand, with registrations rising to 12 percent during October 2023 from 10 percent in October 2022.

The market of Hyderabad residential properties encompasses four districts namely Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy and Sangareddy.
