Hyderabad based NCL Industries exhibits outstanding growth for Q4

NCL Industries Ltd, a cement manufacturer based in Hyderabad, reported strong performance indicators for the fourth quarter on Monday, demonstrating substantial growth in different sectors.

Throughout the period, the company observed a significant growth in cement production, with a 4% increase to 7.30 lakh metric tonnes compared to the previous year. Similarly, cement dispatches also saw a 4% rise, totaling 7.39 lakh metric tonnes. 

Furthermore, NCL Industries exhibited significant expansion in its cement boards division, as production surged by 17% to 21,976 metric tonnes and dispatches climbed by 5% to 21,651 metric tonnes year-on-year. 

Additionally, the ready-mix concrete (RMC) industry experienced substantial growth, with production and sales rising by 23% to 85,580 cubic meters from the previous year. NCL Industries has reported 7% rise in cement production to 7,02,822 Metric Tonnes (MT) in Q4FY23 as compared to 6,59,485 MT in Q4FY22. The company has dispatched 7,09,461 MT cement in Q4FY23 as compared to 6,67,674 MT in Q4FY22, i.e. up by 6%. Its Cement Boards production and Cement Boards dispatches stood at 18,762 MT and 20,587 MT respectively in fourth quarter of FY23.

Overall, the significant expansion in the ready-mix concrete sector can be attributed to the increased construction activity, government initiatives, advantages of RMC over traditional concrete, technological advancements, and investments in the sector. This growth is expected to continue in the coming years as the demand for RMC remains strong in the construction industry.
