Godrej Properties buys 11-acre land with a developable potential of Rs.1,800 crore

Realty firm Godrej Properties Ltd on Friday (June 28) said the organization has gained leasehold rights for a 11-acre of land parcel in Hinjewadi, Pune.

This securing offers a developable capability of 2.2 million square feet, with an expected income capability of Rs.1,800 crore. Godrej Properties had sold homes worth Rs.22,500 crore in the monetary year 2024.

The figure is a development of 84% contrasted with last year and 61% higher than the underlying direction given by the organization toward the beginning of the year. This is the highest annual sales that any publicly traded real estate developer in India has ever announced. 

 

Godrej Properties’ bookings for the March quarter increased by 135% over the previous year to over 9,500 crore. In the final three months of the year, it sold 5,331 homes with a total area of over 8 million square feet. During the previous fiscal year, Godrej Properties sold 14,310 homes with a total area of more than 20 million square feet.

Godrej Properties recorded its highest quarterly sales ever in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, where it sold homes worth more than 4,000 crore rupees. The land engineer ascribed the deals areas of strength for to request in some new venture dispatches.

The regulatory filings of the company says, “The company has acquired leasehold rights for an 11-acre land parcel in Hinjewadi, Pune, offering the developable potential of 2.2 million square feet with an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,800 crore. The development on this land will comprise primarily Group Housing and High Street Retail”.
