Stone Wood Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to expand its portfolio to 50 properties across India within the next five years. The company currently operates 16 boutique hotels and resorts, and intends to add five to six properties annually through management contracts, lease agreements, and owned properties.
The expansion strategy is designed to accommodate both leisure and business travelers. Stone Wood intends to establish properties in nature-rich destinations such as Kabini, Coorg, Jawai, and Ranthambore, offering serene escapes for tourists.
Moreover, it intends to penetrate key urban areas, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Amritsar, and Chandigarh, employing rental and revenue-sharing arrangements to address soaring urban demand.
In support of this expansion, Stone Wood Hotels, Stone Wood Premier, and Stone Wood Comfort have been launched. Various customer groups are served by these sub-brands, ranging from high-end consumers to pocket-conscious travelers. Future projects in places like Calangute, Kasauli, and Jawai reflect this approach.
The Group's dual focus on offbeat spots and urban markets, coupled with its segmentation strategy, positions it as a major player in India's upscale hospitality sector.
Managing Director of Stone Wood Hotels and Resorts, Shikhar Kumar said, our goal is to redefine boutique hospitality by providing guests with memorable experiences that combine top-notch amenities and exceptional value. Our commitment to bridging the gap between affordability and luxury is the motivation behind the introduction of our fresh brand categories and aggressive expansion plans. Our presence across prime urban and offbeat locations allows us to create experiences that resonate with today's discerning travellers.
