G-20 summit will stimulate India's further growth by revitalizing Indian Economy

India has always been a land of resources, where people from many cultures, languages and religions are co-existing peacefully. So, India is called the land of unity in diversity. From the time immemorial India has been neglected in the global platforms and wealthy giant nations like the US & UK, who has always been sympathetic towards India, but now India with its fertile manpower and efficient brains have covered up that long gap in the queue of pride and became the 4th wealthiest economy around the globe.

This year renowned global forum G-20 has chosen India to organize its 18th Summit in Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan and it will be chaired by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. The summit will start from 9th September and will continue till September 10th.

This world summit will definitely help to emerge India’s economic growth by attracting more foreign investments in the countryand it will boost country’s real estate sector.This prodigious attention showcases India’s significance on the global stage. The theme of this summit is ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’ which means one earth one family, one future, and the logo of this prestigious event is inspired by tricolor of Indian national flag.

India’s presidency of the G20 forum represents 85 percent of global GDP and 75 percent of international trade and it is highly significant for India who is trying to propel its growth by amplifying its economic condition after walking past the strong strike of pandemic. As per the economists, Delhi will experience the most economic growth due to this summit followed by satellite city Gurugram situated in the vicinity.

Agendas of the Summit

G20 summit has come forth its six agendas for the upcoming financial year, they are listed down.

  • Officials say African Union's inclusion in G20 may happen, giving it voting rights. G20 nations support this proposal. But decision is pending. It is one of the main agenda in Delhi G20 Summit.

PM Narendra Modi is very optimistic and confident about the success of the Summit and its agenda under India’s presidency is focused on climate change, debt restructuring through the G20's Common Framework for debt, and a strategy for regulation of global cryptocurrencies. This summit will enhance India’s economic, social, environmental, and digital sectors.

As per reports, nearly 23 hotels in Delhi and an additional nine in the National Capital Region (NCR) have been designated to accommodate the G20 delegates. Notably, the Oberoi Hotel will provide lodging for the Turkish delegation, while Le Meridien will be the chosen accommodation for delegations from Mauritius, Netherlands, Nigeria, and Spain.

As per the reports of Business Today, The Lalit Hotel has been selected to host the Canadian and Japanese delegations, while the Korean delegation will be accommodated at the Oberoi Gurugram. The Egyptian delegation is scheduled to stay at the ITC Sheraton in Saket, the Leela Hotel in Gurugram will house the Saudi Arabian delegation and the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi will accommodate the UAE delegation.

All the delegates will be attending apart from Russian president Vladimir Putin. As per the report, Putin has already had word with our honorable prime minister and he conveyed his inability to attend and he said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will come to represent Russia on behalf of him.

PM Narendra has opined that, “Protecting and caring for Mother Earth is our fundamental responsibility. Today, it has taken the shape of ‘Climate Action’ because this duty was ignored by many for a very long time. Based onIndia’s traditional knowledge, I would emphasize that Climate Action must follow ‘Antyodaya’. That is, we must ensure the rise and development of the last person in society.”

This summit will explore new horizons of economic growth and it will amplify India’s position as investment friendly nation and lead India towards a flourishing economy. This long lift will boost modern infrastructure, international connectivity, and create a vibrant business ecosystem by giving thrust to commercial and residential real estate development in major hubs like NCR.
