ED's Call for Hiranandani's in FEMA Violation Case

The ED (Enforcement Directorate), an agency running under Government of India that inspects financial crimes searched for premises of realtors inside and around Mumbai for suspected FEMA violations against Niranjan Hiranandani and his son Darshan Hiranandani.

According to the report of Press Trust of India, the Hiranandani group can chose to present their initial responses via a sanctioned representative.

In this inquiry, Darshan Hiranandani – son of Niranjan Hiranandani who live in Dubai is also holds a major part.

As per the sources relevant to this subject, Enforcement Directorate is suspecting and inquiring the Hiranandani Group in association with 25 British Virgin Inland-based ventures and trust led by it.

During the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) investigation, the company said that it is deliberated to cooperate with ED. This investigation is not unconnected to another FEMA search that involves the prominent TMC leader Mahua Moitra, who was debarred from the Lok Sabha in the month of December.

Moitra was accused by the BJP MP Nishikant Dubey for targeting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani Group on behalf of Darshan Hiranandani in exchange of offerings. And most importantly, Darshan Hiranandani admitted himself that he used the parliamentary login credentials of Mahua Moitra to raise questions in the House.
