India's top foreign education consultancy, Gradding, is expanding its portfolio of purpose-built student accommodations (PBSAs) worldwide in order to accommodate the increasing number of Indian students relocating overseas. These reasonably priced solutions are designed to meet the unique requirements of Indian students, providing them with an appropriate environment in which to live, socialize, and develop. In order to give candidates plenty of options, Gradding plans to add 3000 new rooms to its dashboard over the course of the next three years.
Some of the reasons Indian students are migrating abroad include easier access to student loans, exposure to foreign cultures, and better professional growth prospects.
The upward trend is also being fueled by other factors, such as easier work permit and VISA alternatives for students.
According to GOI figures, around 1.3 million Indian students would study abroad in 85 different countries in 2024. One of the most popular travel destinations is Canada, which is followed by other well-known locations like Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, etc.
Finding a good and reasonably priced place to live is one of the first things an Indian student looks for when they arrive overseas. The market for housing for international students is expanding, and demand is exceeding availability. However, there are not many reasonably priced options available to Indian students. Gradding wants to leave his mark here.
In the beginning, the company will be expanding its portfolio of student housing in the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia. Later on, it will expand the accommodation portal to include additional countries.
With a presence throughout the value chain, including admissions consulting, preparation tutoring, VISA help, funding, documentation aid, housing, and much more, Gradding is India's top international education company.
Mamta Shekhawat, Founder, Gradding says, “While the numbers of Indian students migrating abroad in search of high-quality education is jumping steeply, finding the right accommodation is still a challenge. With dearth of specified options, students generally prefer multifamily homes, hostel accommodation, relatives, individual rooms, etc. These are often expensive and might not be convenient towards the long-term growth of students. To successfully fulfil the academic endeavours abroad, it is essential for students to get access to quality accommodations”.
“To further bridge the market gaps with bespoke housing solutions for students from India, we are building portfolios of accommodations all over the globe. Our goal is to provide Indian students with the best accommodations, ensuring that they can focus on their education & career growth rather than the distraction of housing uncertainties”, he added.
