Co-living Startup Attaches 1,000 Beds for Portfolio Expansion

Delivering best Co-living homes in more than 300 cities, an ingenious co-living startup Union Living has planned an expansion move for the current calendar year. In a part of this expansion move, it will attach 1,000 beds across a range of key locations including Mumbai, Maharashtra.

As per the extension plan, Union Living will launch 220 beds in Mahalakshmi, 180 beds in Juhu, 100 beds in Khar/Santacruz, 150 beds in Goregaon/Malad, 100 beds in Chembur and 200 beds in Navi Mumbai. Along with these, to provide customized facilities to the occupants, at least of three properties comprising 500 beds in total will be developed as BTS (built-to-suit) properties. These BTS properties are predicted to be set live by the month of July this year.

This expansion move unveils the commitment of Union Living on providing high-quality co-living spaces for outstation students and full-time working professionals repositioned for employment opportunities. They are offering a community-centric practices & experiences through in-house events that include music, festivities, mental health, and personal development and so on.

The current portfolio of Union Living includes 1050 equipped beds across nine properties across the major cities such as Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad. Union Living will spend Rs. 10 crore for this expansion move. The total capital would be used for security deposit to landowner and interior works of its newly started centers. Union Living meets the demands of both students & working professionals. In addition, it provides temporary stay amenities. The company’s rental accommodation fee starts from Rs. 20,000 per bed.
