Bhumika Group Bags NHPC Metro Project & Receives LoA from DMRC

A bright name in the real estate market, Bhumika Group, who is based out of New Delhi, has recently entered into metro mall segment with the recent award of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the NHPC Metro station project from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

This metro rail project at Mathura Road will be company’s second venture in Faridabad. Before a few months, the company has announced that, it has entered into an agreement to develop a 5.5 lakh sq ft of retail development, merely 3-4 km from the group’s current project site. 

This year in August, Bhumika Group has announced that they would invest an amount Rs.600 crore to develop a high street retail project as part of their expansion plan in Faridabad.

Expressing the gratitude and enthusiasm, Managing Director of Bhumika Group, Uddhav Poddar, mentioned, “We feel that Faridabad is the new growth corridor, and Mathura Road, in particular, is emerging as a pivotal hub for retail development in the NCR, capturing the attention of top retailers and renowned restaurateurs. It has further fuelled our commitment to focus our efforts in Faridabad, specifically, at Mathura Road.”

The company has entered into a joint agreement with a local real estate farm Amolik Group for 5 acres of land parcel. They are planning to develop 5.5 lakh square feet high street retail on this land over the four years.

Their recent project, the Urban Square Mall in Udaipur, has witnessed near 95% leasing and it has over 95 lifestyle brands from India and abroad. The mall’s first phase is already operational, and the second phase is also likely to be launched soon. Urban Square Mall has redefined shopping experiences in Rajasthan.
