Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) have executed the redevelopment work of the Dham Railway Junction in Ayodhya.
The company has provided its proficiency & capability to refurbish the station building & its circulating areas. Represented on the Ram Mandir, the newly launched railway station is now able to switch over more than 21 million passengers per annum with a peak capacity of 5,930 people per hour.
By civilizing & enhancing the infrastructure & advancing the amenities, the company has contributed to build Ayodhya to be ready for a vast arrival of pilgrims & tourists.
Marking triple-height entrance halls with natural light, 12 lifts & 14 escalators, the reachable & environmental-friendly building has been designed to be spacious.
Considerably, the railway station is specialized as ‘accessible for all’ and a ‘green station’ from the council of Indian Green Building Council.
Also the Rites have undertaken the redevelopment work of Varanasi railway station & are working under the process on the redevelopment work of Kollam station in Kerala & Somnath railway station in Gujarat.
