As stated by Mahindra's, goal is to target Rs.2,500 crore by the end of FY25

Mahindra Lifespaces has established an ambitious goal for its residential sector by the fiscal year 2025. The real estate leader is aiming for a projected revenue of Rs.2,500 crore, following its impressive sales performance of Rs.2,300 crore in FY23, indicating significant growth potential.

In a media interview MD & CEO, Mahindra Lifespaces, Amit Kumar Sinha said, "We have two businesses, residential and industrial, so last financial year we had roughly Rs.1,800 crore on the pre-sales residential side and roughly Rs.500 crore on the industrial side. We will have healthy growth on the residential side; we have had very successful launches and our pipeline is very strong for the following year."

He also added,"We have not given guidance for FY24, but we have given guidance of FY25 externally, which is Rs.2,500 crore on the residential side."

He highlighted that, the company has chosen to focus on key markets like Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore, while also maintaining a presence in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Sinha presented a plan to attain a goal of Rs.8,000 to Rs.10,000 crore in revenue within the next five years in these markets, signifying a fivefold growth.

Sinha also explained that, "In these markets, we are thinking of achieving Rs.8,000 to 10,000 crore, which is 5x in five years. We need Rs.45,000 crore worth of projects, which is a very tall order. However, we already have a healthy portfolio in terms of the gross development value (GDV) pipeline with ₹5,000 crore that we are already tracking. Our Thane land parcel number is roughly Rs.8,000 to 10,000 crore, so one-third of that 45,000 crore is already with us; we will add another one-third of that through what's very common in Mumbai and the western part of India, a joint development agreement.”

He also said that, Mahendra is also thinkful about sustainability and they are steering up the idea of net-zero building complexes.

He quoted, "By doing net zero building, we can solve multiple problems and provide a home which is closer to dream home, but also a healthy home for individuals, as well as for the company, as well as for the planet and that is what we are trying to achieve. Our efforts are making strong progress."
