According to Arkade Developers, it has purchased a 6.5-acre plot of land with a total saleable area of roughly 6.76 lakh square feet.
On February 12, listed real estate developer Arkade Developers declared that it had acquired a Rs. 1700 crore gross development value cluster redevelopment project in Dahisar, a micromarket on the northern edge of Mumbai.
A 6.5-acre plot of land in Mumbai's Dahisar East neighborhood has been purchased by the company for the Anand Nagar Society's cluster redevelopment. The total area that can be sold is roughly 6.76 lakh square feet.
According to the company, the redevelopment project is expected to yield a gross development value (GDV) of Rs. 1,700 crores, encompassing a plot area of 26,286 square meters.
Arkade Developers has reached a key milestone as it expands its presence in the Mumbai metropolitan region, reinforcing its position in the real estate sector. The company’s latest project is strategically positioned in Dahisar, a rapidly growing micro-market, with close proximity to Dahisar Station, Anand Nagar Metro Station, and the Western Express Highway.
According to Chairman and Managing Director Amit Jain, the real estate sector is experiencing strong growth, driven by the 2025 Union Budget’s emphasis on housing and rental market expansion. This favorable environment has enabled Arkade Developers to secure five new projects this year, including four redevelopment projects and one outright purchase, all in prime locations across the MMR region.
Additionally, the company has successfully obtained four occupation certificates (OCs) ahead of the timelines set by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Arkade Developers plans to introduce luxury residences, offering two, three, and four-bedroom configurations.
