Raffles Hotels unveils 'Raffles Jaipur' - Blend of Mughal & Rajputana Architecture

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has revealed the launch of Raffles Jaipur, a lavish getaway that introduces the brand’s exceptional service to one of India’s liveliest locations.

Positioned in close proximity to the key sights of the historic ‘Pink City’ and encompassed by the ancient Aravalli Hills, Raffles Jaipur reinvents the magnificence of a regal palace, providing visitors with a lavish and extravagant stay.

Omer Acar, the Chief Executive Officer of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, conveyed his enthusiasm regarding the recent inauguration. "We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to visitors at Raffles Jaipur, the brand's second establishment in India. Rajasthan was selected for its profound historical significance, stunning landscapes, and vibrant traditions.

We extend our gratitude to Ratan Kant Sharma and Triton Hotels and Resorts for their collaboration and dedication to opulence, which has played a pivotal role in the realization of this exceptional hotel."

Crafted from pristine white marble, Raffles Jaipur displays the finest Rajasthani artistry, fusing Mughal and Rajputana architectural styles. The establishment boasts 50 distinct guestrooms and suites, all with a spacious balcony that includes an outdoor soaking tub or plunge pool. Elaborate touches such as painted ceilings, golden murals, and camel bone inlay furniture adorn the accommodations.

Raffles Jaipur welcomes visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture, featuring a Shikar tent reminiscent of Royal Mughal expeditions and intricately hand-carved sandstone columns representing various periods of Rajasthani architecture. Additionally, guests can enjoy the renowned Butler Service, which offers personalized healing rituals and exclusive experiences inspired by Rajasthani customs.

Dining at Raffles Jaipur promises an exceptional experience with Arkaa, the specialty restaurant offering modern interpretations of local cuisine sourced from nearby micro-farms. The Writers Bar serves unique cocktails like the Jaipur Sling, a local twist on the famous Singapore Sling, while Safir provides traditional afternoon tea. On the rooftop, Sehara offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes with Italian specialties.

In addition, guests can indulge in a 620-square-metre spa, a modern fitness studio, and a rooftop pool offering breathtaking city vistas. Raffles Jaipur aims to enrich guests' experiences with local heritage through unique dining opportunities, hands-on sessions with local artisans, and intimate concerts. Later this year, an Artisan Trail will be launched, providing guests with the chance to engage with local craftsmen.

Binny Sebastian, the General Manager, highlighted the meticulous design and amenities at Raffles Jaipur, aiming to encourage guests to fully engage with the local culture and gain a fresh outlook on their environment.
