State-led GRSE records 33% progress in Annual Revenue up to Rs. 3,400 crore

Led by State Government of West Bengal, Garden Reach Shipbuilders Ltd informed a Y-O-Y – year-on-year growth of 33 percent in its yearly revenue close to Rs. 3,400 crore for the financial year 2024, and this data format is temporary & not audited officially. 

In the history of the company, it is another highest ever revenue headline recorded by the company. 

Garden Reach Shipbuilders achieved the growth & development by efficient management of amplified internal efficiencies & significant resources. 

Amid the noteworthy mileposts attained throughout the year, Garden Reach Shipbuilders underscored the contracting of the MV 'Ma Lisha,' for the Guyana’s cooperative republic as one of the key achievements of its operations. 

Also the company carried the first Survey Vessel, the INS Sandhayak & the next-gen electric ferry to the government of West Bengal. 

Correspondingly, Garden Reach Shipbuilders had contracted a MoU – memorandum of understanding with the BRO – Border Roads Organization for the construction, supply, and erection & launching of a supplementary double-lane class 70 modular steel bridges in the border areas. The government of West Bengal still clenches a 74. 5 percent stake in the company Garden Reach Shipbuilders.

In the month of February, the firm had announced an interim payment of Rs. 7.92 per share, succeeding revenue of Rs. 0.7 per share payout in the month of September last year.
