RVNL Seals Rs.339.2 Crore Network Project from Maharashtra Government

Owned by State Government, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) said that the organization has gotten a letter of approval (LoA) for a network project worth Rs. 339.2 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail corporation Ltd.

The agreement involves the “design and construction of elevated viaduct”  spreading over a length of 4.519 km of the Pune Metro Rail organization, as per a stock trade recording. The execution timetable of this venture is of 130 weeks, RVNL added. 

The railroad PSU’s solidified net benefit dropped 6.24 percent on a year-on-year (YoY) premise to Rs. 358.57 crore in the quarter finished December 31, 2023, contrasted with Rs. 382.42 crore in a similar period last year.

While net deals plunged 6.4 percent to Rs. 4,689.3 crore in second from last quarter of FY24 versus Rs. 5,012.1 crore in the year-prior period.

The consecutive shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd finished at Rs. 245.80, up by Rs.2.40, or 0.99 percent, on the BSE.

On this regard, the State Government owned company on this network project said, “It is hereby informed that Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited for Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct of Length 4.519 Kms from CH: (-) 1079.899m to CH: (-) 5599.298m between PCMC and NIGDI (Bhakti Shakti) on the NorthSouth Corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project- Reach l -Extension”.
