New Airports to build in MP to magnify Airline Connectivity of Residents

As a part of the UDAN scheme, the civil aviation ministry of India has publicized the plans to build Guna and Shivpuri airports. The plan to developing airports fosters to enhance the regional air connectivity & generate the air travel more reachable to residents within the area.

Located in Madhya Pradesh, Guna Airport has been allocated for the infrastructure development under UDAN 5.2. A total capital of Rs. 45 crore has been allotted to the project in which the AAI - Airports Authority of India dedicated to offering communications, CNS, ATM – Air Traffic Management & AIS - Aeronautical Information Services.

Similarly, Shivpuri Airport also located in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh has also been undertaken by the scheme. Focusing on improving the overall regional air connectivity, the Shivpuri Airport is projected to accommodate nine seater aircraft and enable the residents move from Shivpuri to Bhopal via Spirit Air, the new startup airline.

By founding direct airline connectivity between two cites, the noteworthy step of civil aviation ministry of India is composed to offer diverse transportation benefits to residents in Shivpuri & Bhopal and also the residents in neighbored areas. In addition to simplifying the passenger movement, the developmental step is projected to amplify the commerce, trade, tourism, and thus boosting the economic actions into the regions.
