Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam signs deal of solar project worth Rs.1,026 crore with HG Infra

Stockwall Solar Services Pvt Ltd announced on Monday, March 18, that its joint venture consortium with HG Infra Engineering Ltd has secured contracts for four solar projects valued at Rs.1,026 crore from Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd, as per a regulatory filing.

The partnership consortium was able to secure these agreements through a competitive bidding process, showcasing their expertise and capabilities in the renewable energy sector.

The projects are expected to significantly contribute to the state's renewable energy goals and help in reducing carbon emissions.

 

The company told that, the project will include the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the solar power plants for 25 years. 

The Kisan Urja Suraksha Evem Utthan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM) scheme has set a deadline of 12 months for the completion of the four projects. The initial solar plant, valued at Rs.156 crore, will possess a combined capacity of 36.72 megawatts (MW).

The second project, with a capacity of 93.08 MW, is expected to cost Rs.396 crore. This project will be a significant addition to the existing infrastructure and will help meet the growing energy demands of the region.

The third and fourth projects, with estimated costs of Rs.314 crore and Rs.160 crore respectively, will have a combined capacity of 73.96 MW and 37.76 MW.

These projects will further enhance the overall energy production capacity and contribute to the sustainable development of the region. With these new projects in place, the region will be better equipped to meet its energy needs and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
