Malvika has a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an undergraduate degree from Rachana Sansad, Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. She began her career in Boston, with Payette Associates, where she was responsible for working with the University of Pittsburgh and Massachusetts General Hospital on some of their most important expansions. At Mani Chowfla in Delhi, one of the most prestigious architecture firms in India, she contributed her expertise in expanding educational institutions like IIM Kozhikode and the Sagar School.

Malvika has worked across a wide range of projects. In her work on individual homes, she enjoys working closely with families to realize their dream of a beautiful and unique home. Notably, Malvika has designed showrooms for luxury watch boutique Art of Time and designed several clinics and a 100-person corporate office for Healthspring - India’s leading primary healthcare chain.

Specifically, Malvika’s area of expertise lies in understanding the client’s requirements and implementing her skills to fabricate an environment that meets the needs of the client at the same time taking into consideration the surroundings to create a perfect fit.

Malvika shares, “My goal for the interiors is to always treat the spaces in an architectural manner – once a home has good bones then there are lots of ways to decorate and the key lies in finding a style that is unique yet within the design realm that a client can feel comfortable in.
