The Art of Living & Kent unites to donate 1 lakh Water Filters for Rural Residents

The Art of Living and Kent have formed a joint venture to provide free, high-quality Kent Gold UF (Optima) water filters throughout India in an effort to improve rural health and hygiene. The Memorandum of Understanding - MOU was signed in Delhi.

Present at the marking function were key figures including Shri Prasana Prabhu, Chairman, The Art of Living Social projects, and Shri Mahesh Gupta, Managing Director, Kent while Gurudev Sri Ravi Shankar’s heavenly presence implanted the event with motivation.

The drive set an aggressive objective of dispersing 1, 00,000 Kent Optima Water filters across four Indian states, with the underlying stage concentrating on administering 25,000 water filters in Maharashtra.

The Art of Living has identified a pressing need for clean drinking water in the Jalna district, where the implementation will begin. The candles, which are a fundamental part of the purging framework, will be given without charges to four years after establishment – a liberal signal guaranteeing that villagers will keep on approaching clean drinking water with next to no extra financial burden.

This partnership stands out because of The Art of Living’s proactive approach, which includes not only distributing the water filters but also locating areas where they are most needed right away.

A committed specialized group from the association will lead thorough water quality tests, guaranteeing that the water filters are designated where water is risky for utilization. This project, which is part of a larger effort to improve rural health and hygiene, aims to sustainably guarantee the availability of clean drinking water in rural India.

The Art of Living, a charitable, educational, and humanitarian organization established in 1981 by the world-renowned spiritual and charitable leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, collaborates closely with the Indian government to implement a variety of water conservation initiatives to alleviate the country’s water shortage.
