Regency Ceramics enters into agreement with Segno Ceramics & takes over the plant

Regency Ceramics, a company that deals in ceramics manufacturing, has revealed plans to acquire Segno Ceramics Pvt Ltd. The transaction will be carried out methodically and involves the complete acquisition of Segno Ceramics based in Bapatla district located within Andhra Pradesh region.

Under this deal, Regency stands to benefit from access to 50 acres of production space at Segno's facility thereby increasing its annual capacity output by an additional 3.6 million square metres per year.

Regency Ceramics will be capable of producing various high-quality products such as glazed vitrified tiles and polished vitrified tiles with the aid of this establishment. 

According to the Managing Director, Satyendra Prasad Narala, Regency Ceramics' market position will be reinforced through an all-cash deal, with a specific focus on the South and East.

"This strategic initiative addresses our immediate production requirements and strengthens our market position. Our goal is to reach a revenue target of Rs.100 crore in the coming calendar year," he stated.

He added that the cutting-edge machinery and production capabilities at the new facility would enable the company to grow its presence in the ceramics market. "Being closer to Chennai and Krishnapatnam provides us with a significant locational advantage."

The Managing Director of Regency Ceramics, Mr. Satyendra Prasad Narala voiced his excitement towards the acquisition as he stated that it will tackle their current production demands and elevate their market position. Considering their reputable legacy among Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka , Kerala and Orissa states; they aim to generate an earning target of Rs 100 crores by the end of next year.

Regency Ceramics is ready to make a substantial contribution towards the revival of industry and economic growth in Andhra Pradesh, thanks to the state government's renewed emphasis on infrastructure development.
