With the attainment of holding Sanghi Industries, ACL seizes a controlling stake of 54.51 percent in Sanghi Industries. Now the size of the company is valued at Rs. 5,185 crore.
Sanghipuram manufacturing unit of SIL in Kutch district of Gujarat, extends over 2,700 hectares has a clinker production capacity of 6.6 million tpa, a cement grinding unit of 6.1 MTPA, and a 13 MW captive power plant is India’s largest single-location cement and clinker unit by capacity. It possesses a billion-ton high quality surface mining limestone assets.
Ambuja Cements invests in escalating the obtainable captive Sanghipuram port to hold larger vessels, and the company will contribute towards developing infrastructure by facilitating the increasing requirements for cement across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala at a competitive prices.
