Arc of Elegance's journey began when the homeowners, impressed by Preetu, tracked her down to design their dream home. Their vision was clear—they wanted a house that was slightly flashy yet maintained an air of sophistication.
As a family with young children, they required a space that was functional, safe, and comfortable.
Preetu skillfully navigated these demands by creating a home that balances luxury with comfort and practicality. She avoided overtly flashy elements, opting instead for toned-down materials that add a subtle bling without overwhelming the senses. For instance, brass elements with a patina finish were used, providing a touch of glamour without the garishness often associated with shiny brass.
One of the standout features of Arc of Elegance is its clever use of space. The layout of the home posed challenges, with its rectangular spaces and long corridors. Preetu addressed this by introducing curved walls, transforming what could have been mundane, tunnel-like passages into intriguing pathways that lead to grander spaces.
