Los Cavos, a Latin American inspired restaurant, has arrived in Bangalore after its debut in the high streets of Bandra.

Now present at one of the most prime locations, this new spot in the Garden City draws inspiration from the vibrant cultures and streets of Latin American countries. The restaurants aesthetics depicts a scene set on the streets of Latin America, achieved through vibrant colors, culturally relevant art, thoughtfully designed arches that enhances the volume of the space, and a balcony with streetlamps and paved pathway depicting a street. The original walls were retained with their aged & weathered look, a coat of texture paint over it preserves the wall and creates a rich, warm aesthetic.

The façade of Los Cavos immediately captures the vibrant essence of Latin American culture. The compound walls are highlighted by a striking 24-foot-high bell-tower, featuring intricate moldings and faux windows that evoke Latin architectural charm. Upon entering, you'll pass through a striking metal double door reminiscent of a heritage Latin American building.

The outdoor area has an organic landscaped waterbody at a corner, inspired from the courtyards of Latin public spaces, featuring a lion spout with water trickling down creating a serene ambience. Above, the ceiling is adorned with rafters finished in a distressed, polished wood, enhancing the space’s rustic atmosphere. The outdoor area features a small adjoining room that serves as a mini bar, echoing the vibrant red façade of the main bar. This intimate space also includes a cigar humidor, embracing the Cuban culture and enhancing the overall ambiance with a nod to the rich traditions of smoking cigars.

You enter Los Cavos from the outdoor area through a striking teal wooden door, beautifully distressed and adorned with intricate stained glass. As you step indoors, you're immediately enveloped in its distinctive ambiance. The distressed walls, complemented by a mix of cobblestone and broken tiles interspersed with polished concrete. This eclectic design enhances the restaurant’s unique character.

The ceiling features grand parabolic arches, adding a sense of scale and coziness to the space. A street-inspired vibe is further accentuated by a booth with a mezzanine balcony above it. This feature showcases wooden louvered doors and stained glass, creating a striking focal point and makes you feel like you’re on the streets in Latin America.

At the far end of Los Cavos, the bar stands out with its bright red front, finished in a distressed wood for a rustic yet vibrant look. The bar's ceiling is clad in distressed mirror, creating a reflective, expansive feel. Behind the bar, the bottle display is enhanced by a distressed mirror backdrop, giving the illusion that the space extends beyond the bar. The area is further decorated with vibrant arches created from moldings, each showcasing colorful artwork to complete the lively ambiance. In one corner, a DJ booth adds to the energetic atmosphere, featuring an artwork of an old Cuban man with a cigar—a familiar touch that nods to the original Bombay restaurant and brings a sense of continuity to the new location.

The main ceiling of the restaurant is a focal point, adorned with intricate moldings and artwork featuring a distressed finish. A striking chandelier serves as the centerpiece, perfectly completing the space and adding a touch of elegance to the vibrant, aged and eclectic ambiance.

“ Los Cavos is a scene set on the streets of Latin America. Curated artwork, warm ambience and architectural details are reminiscent of Latin Bohemia “ says Maze Concept.
