Lighting Firm 'Signify' Sets-up Finance Service Hub for Global Business Expansion

The top lighting manufacturer in the world, Signify has formally opened its Global Finance Service Centre (GFSC) Hub in Noida. More than 250 workers will be involved in this hub, which is vital to the expansion of Signify's operations in India and abroad.

With the help of these hubs for centralized procedures, Signify hopes to keep moving forward with its transformation path.

The GFSC will concentrate on accounting operations, Credit and Collection (C&C), Accounting, Reporting and Internal Control (ARIC), and Purchase to Pay (PTP) while catering to global markets.

Numerous advantages are anticipated from the new finance hub, including increased employment and economic growth.

Sumit Joshi, CEO & MD, Signify Greater India, commented, "The launch of our Global Finance Service Centre in Noida underlines our commitment to growth across the world with a dominant focus on the Indian market. It's an affirmation of the rich talent pool and the conducive business environment that India offers. We believe this move will help nurture and develop the skills of our workforce, thereby contributing to the flourishing talent ecosystem in the country."

"We are excited to inaugurate our GFSC in Noida, which will play a key role in supporting our global business services model. This hub represents our commitment to driving strategic objectives and contributing to our growth trajectory globally," said Dibyendu Raychaudhury, Head of Finance, Signify Greater India.

Recently, the company has been provided to flood-affected houses by Signify, a global leader in lighting, in response to the disastrous floods that hit the West Tripura district. As part of the company’s “Har Gaon Roshan” CSR program, the project is being carried out in collaboration with the District Administration of the West Tripura district and the Agartala Municipal Corporation, under the direction of Sri Dipak Majumder, Hon’ble Mayor, and Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate (DM) and Collector.
