Leading Lighting Leader Signify joins FISS for Sustainable Lighting

Under its Jagmag Pathshala CSR initiative, Signify, the world leader in lighting, teamed up with the Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution (FISS) to effectively upgrade the ventilation and lighting systems in 100 government schools located in the Udalguri district of Assam. In order to provide over 10,000 students and teachers with continuous illumination and ventilation, Signify will install 1400 ceiling fans and 2800 inverter-powered lights as part of this project.

Chief Guest Shri Pulak Patgiri, ACS, District Commissioner, Udalguri, Assam, graced the project's inauguration ceremony, expressing gratitude for this significant effort to improve the current educational infrastructure.

Installing inverter-powered LED lights and fans in 100 schools and holding seminars to increase capacity are important project activities that will guarantee long-term sustainability. In keeping with Signify's dedication to high-quality education, sustainability, and community empowerment, the project also strengthens educational facilities and encourages the use of sustainable energy.
