Furlenco announced its foray into Offline Retail Stores in India for a Hands-On Furniture Experience

Furlenco, India’s leading furniture and lifestyle brand, has announced its foray into the offline retail realm. With the inauguration of its flagship store in HRBR Layout, Bengaluru, covering an expansive 5500 sq. ft., alongside another medium-sized store in HSR Layout, Furlenco is determined to provide customers with a tactile encounter of their extensive furniture offerings.

This strategic move by Furlenco aims to bridge the gap between its robust online presence and physical interaction, offering customers the chance to engage with the products and make informed purchase decisions. The stores will showcase a wide spectrum of furniture options, ranging from sofas to beds and dining tables, catering to diverse price points and preferences. Customers will have the flexibility to furnish their homes with comfort and style, with the option to either buy brand new or rent furniture.

Ajith Mohan Karimpana, Founder and CEO of Furlenco emphasized, “While the online platform has played a pivotal role in building our brand, we recognize the significance of offline touchpoints. As Furlenco expands beyond being just a furniture rental brand, we are committed to harnessing the untapped potential of offline opportunities to elevate our operations and stimulate growth. These stores mark the commencement of our omni-channel approach, aimed at enriching the customer experience and catering to diverse purchasing habits. In our stores, we believe that experiencing furniture craftsmanship is as vital as selecting the perfect piece for your home.”

The stores have been thoughtfully designed to provide multiple touchpoints, offering educational and enriching shopping experiences for consumers. Furlenco’s design prowess is showcased through a Material Library at the stores, featuring physical material swatches, miniature furniture displays, furniture joinery, and award-winning finished products, underscoring the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and durability. The multi-level store layout ensures exceptional product visibility, while carefully chosen wall colors blend modern aesthetics with a homely ambiance, creating a distinctive retail journey. Furlenco's in-house manufacturing capabilities offer greater flexibility in customizing furniture according to consumers' preferences.

Furlenco envisions expanding its offline retail footprint by opening additional stores across major Indian cities, ensuring broader accessibility to its furniture solutions. Currently, the Bengaluru-based firm has made its online presence felt in major urban centers such as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Hyderabad, and Chennai, serving over 2.5 lakh customers across 10 cities.
