This pushed Manssi to start a beautiful journey in canine nutrition and the world of holistic natural care for dogs. Manssi V. Karambelkar, Founder, Doggiliciouus shares, “She had been rescued from a rather heartbreaking situation and it had turned her into a quiet and timid dog who fell ill frequently. The first month she was home, she fell severely ill for 13 days at the hospital with multiple organ failure and severe haemorrhaging from all the organs. On the 10th day, she started showing signs of improvement and I knew I had to do something, so we wouldn’t be in that situation again. So I followed what any person who loved their dog would, seeking help from doctors, only to be handed a long list of medications Kira needed to be on for the long term, the dry food that she needed to be fed lifelong, and several other restrictions”.

Disheartened about this, Manssi was crying to her grandmother on the phone, when her grandma told her to stop crying and find the solutions in her kitchen. This sparked the journey into research and nutrition diplomas and several other courses that followed, which lead to the birth of Doggiliciouus.
