Mumbai's real estate market remains on the rise, with wealthy industrialists and billionaires continuing to invest in premium properties throughout the city.

The latest high-profile purchase is by billionaire couple Michelle and Yohan Poonawalla, who have acquired an impressive 30,000-square-foot mansion in the prestigious Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai. Valued between Rs.400 and 750 crore, this exceptional property will act as their secondary residence. Here's a detailed look at this major real estate transaction and the affluent couple involved.

The Poonawallas have recently purchased a magnificent mansion that covers an expansive 30,000 square feet in the prestigious Cuffe Parade area, renowned for its exclusivity and high-end homes.

This property stands as one of the most significant real estate investments made in recent years and is set to be developed into an elegant estate that embodies the couple's appreciation for luxury and refinement.

Michelle Poonawalla’s MYP Design Studio will lead a comprehensive renovation of the mansion, focusing on harmoniously combining historic elegance with contemporary luxury.

The redesigned home will include dedicated areas for Michelle to showcase her extensive art collection, featuring works by famous artists and her own creations. In contrast, Yohan Poonawalla’s section of the mansion will be devoted to his acclaimed collection of rare and valuable automobiles.

Recently, South Mumbai has experienced a notable increase in property purchases by celebrities. Cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Yuvraj Singh have all invested significantly in this area.
