Raymond Realty aims to launch Housing project in Pune with outlay of Rs.2000 crore

Raymond Realty, a real estate arm of Textile Giant Raymond intends to launch a key housing project in Pune with an outlay of around Rs.2000 crore. Currently the company is exploring for a significant land parcel, CEO of Raymond Realty - Harmohan Sahni says.

Also Sahni stated the company is set to mark its footprints in the MMR – Mumbai Metropolitan Region through a plotted development segment.

Expressing to this, Harmohan Sahni states, "We have recently hired manpower for Pune, and we are looking for appropriate land parcels that match our requirement. The requirement is to have a residential project having a topline of around Rs.2,000 crore where we can launch a mid-segment and premium housing project”.

Further, Sahni added, “We are open to Hinjewadi, Kharadi, east, north east, and the Mumbai side of Pune. At the same time we are also open to a good redevelopment project, say in Koregaon Park or on the Boat Club Road where a lot of old buildings are present”.

"Even in Mumbai we are very clear that we want to sell homes in the range of Rs.23, 000 to Rs.24,000 and Rs.60,000 to Rs.70,000 per sq ft. In the next one year, for the Mumbai and Thane real estate markets, we have a launch pipeline in areas like Bandra, Mahim, and one in Thane on our land bank itself," Sahni stated.

In the year 2019, the realty firm Raymond successfully made its debut in the real estate segment with auspicious launch of a project in Thane near the Mumbai city.
